Brief
The Sembawang West Virtual Cycling Race 2026 is a community-focused virtual cycling initiative organized by Virtual Cycling SG (VSG) and the People’s Association (PA) to bring residents together through sport in the heartlands. Held at Woodlands Galaxy CC, the event aimed to promote active living, strengthen community bonding, and introduce virtual cycling in a fun, safe, and accessible environment.
Shifting the focus toward an inclusive, "let’s ride together" format, the race welcomed participants of all backgrounds and fitness levels, ranging from seasoned riders to youths and families. Over 60 participants competed across 9 distinct categories, bringing energy and friendly competition to the heart of Woodlands.

Race Formats
Riders put their endurance to the test across a fast-paced 4.0 km virtual course:
Individual Sprint: Competitors raced in 10-rider waves, battling through quarter-finals and semi-finals to reach a high-stakes 10-rider final.
Team Relay: Pairs (including our Parent-Child duos) teamed up to split the course, with Rider A completing 2.0 km before handing off to Rider B for the final 2.0 km stretch.
Categories & Awards
Individual Age Groups: Youth (13–16), Under 23 (17–22), Open (23–34), Masters (35–44), and Veteran (45+).
Team Relay: Age Group Teams & Parent-Child Pairs.
Prizes: The top 3 finishers across all categories were awarded vouchers during the podium ceremonies!
