Competition Organized
VSG organised the Singapore Cycling Esports and Freestyle Skill Interschool Cup 2025, bringing together students for Singapore’s first multi-discipline interschool cycling competition and introducing them to competitive cycling.

Program Overview
The esports cycling segment was delivered through a structured championship format comprising qualifying rounds and finals, enabling students to advance based on performance. Two events were held in 2025: an individual race hosted at Anglican High School, followed by a Team Time Trial (TTT) at the Singapore Expo Hall. By combining individual and team-based racing, the competition exposed students to different race dynamics while emphasising fairness, teamwork, pacing, and race discipline.
Highlights
Fostered collaboration and race discipline through both individual and team-based formats.
Enabled talent identification for future national youth development programmes.
Brought together esports, track, and freestyle cycling under a single youth platform.
Created opportunities for students to compete and showcase their cycling abilities at an interschool level.
The Cup unified riders from diverse cycling backgrounds by combining esports racing with fixed-gear skill events such as Longest Skid, Track Stand, and Freestyle Skills, creating a shared platform that celebrated the diversity of cycling culture.
