The programme introduced CHIJ Toa Payoh Secondary students to esports cycling through an educational talk and a hands-on virtual racing experience.

Program Overview
The CHIJ Toa Payoh Secondary School Virtual Cycling Programme introduced students to the world of esports and virtual cycling through a combination of an educational talk and an interactive racing activity.
The session began with a sharing on how virtual cycling works, including how indoor trainers, simulation platforms, and performance metrics are used in modern cycling training and competition. Students were also introduced to the growing global ecosystem of esports cycling and how it connects fitness, technology, and competitive sport.
Following the talk, students took part in an inter-class relay challenge, where teams worked together to cover a set virtual distance in the fastest possible time. Each rider contributed a segment of the race before handing over to the next teammate, encouraging teamwork, strategy, and collective effort.
